The eucalyptus or gum tree is a native Australian Tree and dominates most of Australian flora.The eucalyptus has long, oval shaped leaves that range from different shades of green most commonly a olive green, the trees has a shaggy like bark and usually has a height of 13 metres.
They are found in most parts of Australia except from high alpine areas, very rare in tropical rain forests and in arid heart of the Australian outback. With also being a huge Australian icon, the eucalyptus is also used for many different reasons that have been used from historical Aboriginal purposes to modern day needs such as specific medical reasons and give animals such as koala’s homes and food. |
